Dr. Aislin Mushquash, Ph.D., C.Psych.

Dr. Aislin Mushquash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University and the Director of the Coping Research Lab. Work in the lab focuses on understanding how and why people cope with adverse experiences or stressful life events, and evaluating innovative e-mental health tools that support adaptive coping.

At the undergraduate level, Dr. Mushquash teaches Child Development (PSYC 2011) and Psychological Disorders Childhood (PSYC 3010). At the graduate level, Dr. Mushquash teaches Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (PSYC 6011) and Research Methods (PSYC 5711).

Dr. Mushquash is also a Clinical Psychologist with Dilico Anishinabek Family Care where she provides assessment, intervention, and consultation to support First Nations children, youth, adults, and families.
